All about bread.

http://www.thesimpledollar.com/2007/11/04/homemade-bread-cheap-delicious-healthy-and-easier-than-you-think/

I tried this recipe & it is great!
My first time to ever make bread.
Only 6  ingredients instead of 40.

Summertime exercise

When you get tired take a break.
Here is my little monkey! Always great for the arm  muscles.
Going to  park is always fun!
Huff brought his pet bat, Anakin.
Not sure where to exercise, go to a track!
Bring some water!
We ride our bikes to the park! Then run, play & swing! Yall have been going to this park for 5 years now!
Getting a thrill ride on the black spider & the hurricane!
"Let's do it again!"
If you don't know where to go...stay in your backyard & get your exercise there!

Wow, Nana this is going to be so much fun! I can't wait!
Make sure to stay cool with plenty of water.
I love this place!
Waterville IS a blast!

While brothers are at school....

We like to finger paint at home.
First, you tried to eat it and got a green tongue.
About to go in the library.
"Mama, I dropped my blankie!"
I love mommy & me riding bikes to the park.
Climbing on the blocks....one of your favorites.
Sitting in a big boy chair....sometimes.

Jeremy's favorite past time....foraging!

Muscadines, wild peaches, polk salat, sumac, elderberry, blackberries, mulberries, pecans, lemons.
I never know what he'll come home with next. But I do know it all tastes great, healthy & local food that is free. It is something that Jeremy feels great about doing. It has become a passion. Looks like he may be passing it on?

First Day of School! First Grade & Kindergarten.

We had to get a picture with their MP3 players on that they LOVE.
It was a great day for both. They are excited to go back tomorrow.
Something funny was said this morning around 6:15am (by the way we usually get up 7:30-8:30, it varies) Huff calmly looked over at Baxter while eating breakfast and in a matter of fact manner  said, "Baxter when I graduated you will need to clap for me". Baxter  said "Oh! sure Huff yes I will!, oh, wait I will be graduating too, sorry I can't be there". I reminded Baxter that he won't graduate in the first grade, next time will be in 12th grade". So,  they were so excited that they could be together for the graduation! I thought it was cute....and quickly reminded them that they haven't even completed the first day & were already talking about the last day! just enjoy it all....

Remembering Grandmother.

This was from 4th of July 2009

I remember asking Grandmother if I could take this picture of her, she was humoring me and posing for the camera. I think she enjoyed it.

Jeremy remembers her laid back attitude & her stories of welding ships in Mobile.

I remember how she would always say, "Cover those babies feet, its cold." I still think of that every time I see a baby that is bare foot. And our talks about cutting & styling hair.

love & miss you.
